I would prefer a star trek utopia, that's for sure.

“Why are online discussions about politics more hostile than offline discussions?
A popular answer argues that human psychology is tailored for face-to-face interaction and people’s behavior therefore changes for the worse in impersonal online discussions…
Across eight studies, leveraging cross-national surveys and behavioral experiments (total N = 8,434), we test the mismatch hypothesis but only find evidence for limited selection effects.
Instead, hostile political discussions are the result of status-driven individuals who are drawn to politics and are equally hostile both online and offline.
Finally, we offer initial evidence that online discussions feel more hostile, in part, because the behavior of such individuals is more visible online than offline.”This fits with our understanding of personality disorders, which is that they are a small percentage of our society—around 10.5 percent, according to the recent DSM-5-TR.3
I try to avoid all politics online because it's all raging and it's honestly depressing that 10.5% can dominate a space like that.
Haven't played the VN but I really enjoyed the anime. It's the same story and my understanding is that while the VN explains things deeper and more thoroughly the anime is one of those adaptions that the source material (VN) fans like.
Hard to put words to this one, but I really enjoyed it:

I might be a fool but I don't mind paying €51.95 for a 200 pack when the manufacturing is in Germany.
If there was any manufacturing of blades in Sweden I would probably buy those unless the price or quality is way different but all I can find is china manufactured blades with "Swedish stainless steel" such as Rockwell.
Kinda the same with my safety razor, I do a hot water plus soap rinse -> shaving gel made for intimate use -> Shave with the grain (Gets close enough for me)-> Apply alum stone as aftershave -> Clean razor -> Rinse face -> Moisturise if necessary.
As long as I rinse the razor properly after shaving I get away with switching blades once a month or so and I got a 200pc Mühle Stainless Steel pack for ~50 euro back when I bought my razor. The alum stone looks barely used. I'm never going back to cartridge razors.
Correct, you need to keep a pristine copy in your torrent folder and make a copy elsewhere.
"It didn't work" gives very little to work with, all I can recommend is to follow the instructions:

Not a mac user myself.
That sounds great, I love marigolds!
The African basil is flowering–do I need to cut these back for any reason?
The leaves will turn bitter if you don't pinch the flowers before they go to seed.
Here’s the peppermint I was warned would take over my bed given a chance. Do I need to go ahead and transfer it to a separate area or pot now?
I would definitely pot it in a large pot that survives freezing temperatures right away. It will spread quickly in the bed. Plenty of winter surviving tips for mint but adding straw/mulch on top is usually enough if the pot is at least 30cm in hight and diameter.
If everyone is okay with it, I’ll continue to post updates. Thanks for your help!
Please do! I recommend using a third party image hoster such as imgur.com for your photo galleries. A bit of extra work but lessens the upkeep costs for lemmy.world admins.
"Shutting down the nuclear plants may put electricity supply at risk," REE's former chair Jordi Sevilla told Spanish news website Voxpopuli in January. Spain plans to shut down all seven nuclear reactors by 2035.
The planned closure of two nuclear reactors at southwestern Spain's Almaraz plant, starting in 2027, will increase the risks of blackouts, European power lobby ENTSO-E said in April.
REE responded to ENTSO-E by saying there was no risk of a blackout and it could guarantee stable energy supply.Less than a week later, Almaraz temporarily shut down the two units citing abundant wind energy supply as making operations uneconomic. One unit was still offline on Monday.
The first three character classes to appear in D&D were the Fighting-Man (now called the fighter), Magic-User (now called the wizard) and Cleric. The first supplement introduced Thief (now called Rogue) and Paladin (as a Fighter sub class). The list grew a bit with f.e. druid and ranger but then with adnd 2e it was re-organized again with all character classes falling under the four traditional abstract archetypes: Warrior, Wizard, Priest, and Rogue.
So it came from the humble beginnings I'd say. It also makes the game more fun when you have your own specialty. Having two bards argue about who's the better one at haggling does sound like a fun rp opportunity though.
There's a great forum for your friend!

My understanding is that the Focusrite USB-C cards works as expected in Linux but you want a third party GUI such as:
https://github.com/geoffreybennett/alsa-scarlett-gui
Case: I'd go for a case with sound dampening and dust filter, a cheap mATX one would be Chieftec Pro Mini
PSU: I always want a modular PSU and I always aim at one with at least 80+ Gold. A quiet one would be the Seasonic Core GX V2 650W ATX 3.1. Can't go wrong with Seasonic.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600 is low TDP, cheap, latest gen AM5 and should be enough for Reaper without problem.
Motherboard: I went for a cheap B850 board but verified that the PCI Express slot had PCIe 5.0. An example would be ASUS Prime B850M-K.
Drive: An M.2 NVMe Gen 4 2TB should be enough to store both sounds/instruments and the reaper projects.
RAM: I went for 2x16GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 with AMD EXPO. If your friend knows he uses abnormally large sample libraries it doesn't cost all that much to increase it to 2x32GB but should be unnecessary.
My total cost ended up ~€840 with that.
