It's basically the only reason some games don't work on Linux. Proton works with just about every game.

Isn't it because they are using a react app for the win 11 UI?
The story is good.... It doesn't make sense at first because it's so complex. Kojima likes making complex stories, he did the same thing with Metal Gear. The story was my favorite part of Death Stranding.

Steam Deck. I suppose you could get a small emulation handheld but I think the steam deck is a better experience all around for like $200 used.
I guess they woke up and made a good open source game engine?
