He's a sucker and Putin surely knows how to handle him. I think it took a few real talks with other world leaders (and reportedly his wife) to make Trump aware. Must have stung to realize that one of the strongmen he admires so much wasn't giving him the respect he's so desperate for.

Why not both? As Linux achieves more and more momentum, you are bound to see real change in how Microsoft treats its users.

Is the issue with the packaging, or that only an outdated version can be packaged?

He could fix the license, then people would push the up to date version and users wouldn't report old bugs.

But there's still a good and a bad way to make those movies. I usually find RT a good indicator if a movie I'm interested in will be worth watching. Especially looking at both scores. The critic score is a good indicator if the movie is competently made, the user score shows if people felt entertained. If it's 50% critics and 80% user it's one of those that won't get Oscars but should be fun to watch once. If it's 70% critic and 40% user it's that the director tried something unconventional and it didn't click with people. Etc.

Of course, the idea is that there's less risk of that the more people switch.

Microsoft's idea of consent:

Do you want to turn on Recall?

  • Yes
  • Maybe Later

Only if they're charged.

P.S.: since battery cells need to be disposed properly, they are now an 18+ purchase.

Americans voted for this. You can argue about the minutiae and the process, but that's the gist of it.

It's perfectly loaded. Keep in mind that there's water splashing around for two hours or so. 13 will be fine, too. Big gaps are not necessary.

Anyone got an idea of cost? Of course this is going to be brutal, but it's literally ten times what I have in my NAS, in a size slightly longer than a 2.5" drive.

Depends on who writes them.

He should quit and team up with Colbert to do something. Those two are fire, as the kids say.
