There's a new version (fork?) of filebrowser dubbed "quantum" if that's your thing https://github.com/gtsteffaniak/filebrowser

I've had luck melting a hot glue stick and pressing it on the head, letting it cool, and pulling it out, but you would also be best replacing the lock since you can open the door

You can get this to 1x1 and it'll look okay if your launcher allows you to ignore widget sizes (e.g. Lawnchair)

Oh boy, this came out 8 years ago??

There's this, looks kinda fishy but it only asks for a date from the bios and spits out a code without asking for payment, couldn't hurt to try

Edit: found the source for it if you want to roll your own

Their tag line is "in search of incredible" for a reason, they sure as fuck haven't found it!

Ah I think I see what you're going with here. Try turning on "deck" mode shown in the same picture above. That'll place all apps on the home screen and disable the drawer completely. Bypasses the need for automatically adding new apps too

Edit: heads up, there's a reason it says beta next to it. Definitely quite new for the app

It does have the ability to add new apps to home screen, but this may only be in the nightly for now. It does unfortunately not have a jiggle mode like iOS, but I find that it's fast enough to hold it for a moment longer to move apps that I don't feel too much of a desire for it

Give Lawnchair a try. I use the nightly but it's a bit unstable, you should be fine on v14 beta 3 though

"Organize app icons in bulk" is a bit unclear to me, but I think at the very least this will tick most of them

As discussed on the attached patch, it doesn't sound like unified push is a direction we want to go in at the moment. So i'm going to close the bug, but do appreciate the interesting exploration and discussion it has generated. Thank you to everyone who contributed thoughts, time and code to this issue!

I just sent my ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 2 in for service the other day, it hasn't yet reached the depot but I'm worried after seeing reviews online about Lenovo's customer service. I know people are definitely more likely to write a review if they have a bad experience than a good one.

The repair is just for the TrackPoint, which hasn't been really up to the old ThinkPads I've had (T23, T43, T61, T410, T460) and had recently stopped going to the right entirely. TrackPoints are the only reason I still buy ThinkPads and not something like a framework (and I don't think I can go back to non 2-in-1 laptop after this last one)

I also took the NVMe drive out and swapped it with one that had a fresh install of windows 11 on it so that I could use my data while it was sent in. Will they refuse to work on it if they have a non oem drive inside?

Started an update for a minor version and it's been like 20 minutes and I have no display out from the nas and I can't access it over the network. This is the first update I've done on the system how long does this usually take and when should I try rebooting it?
