Spinoza?

In his metaphysics, everything that exists is part of a single substance, which he calls Deus sive Natura (God or Nature). This substance is infinite, eternal, and indivisible, encompassing both mind and body as two aspects of the same fundamental reality. As such, the distinction between subject and object, or mind and matter, is ultimately illusory; they are simply different attributes of the same underlying substance.

I had an Inspiron 14 7460 that was an absolute PoS from the outset. It went through two mainboard replacements within 6 months and even then the USB ports on the right side stopped working after about a year.

On top of that, the battery pack was pretty much useless after two years, which meant I has to constantly have it plugged in in order to use it, and the fans would kick in any time I did anything more intensive than opening an Excel spreadsheet.

It wasn't a cheap model either - I paid about $800 for it.

I love Dell's monitors, but I won't be buying another of their laptops any time soon.

Epic movie , really enjoyed it.

That said, it is screaming out for a longer Director's Cut. I know Villeneuve has said he won't release one, but if there was a film in the past five years that has more or less demanded one, it's this movie.

Don't forget Abe "Woke" Lincoln and his ban on slavery.

"So the values that I think most parents want their children exposed to are the ones that were in existence at the time that our country was founded.”

Imagine a lawmaker unironically stating they want to undo all social progress since 1776.

Thank Christ I don't live in Tennessee.

Problem is, Israel has made it pretty clear they don’t care if they lose US support (or don’t believe it can politically happen)

It's definitely the latter. Israel would very much care if they lost US support, as the drop in funding and military materiel would weaken their power in the region considerably.

Hey, at least you can recline while you sit through the third pickup commercial!

I generally prefer Regal for the screening options but the one thing AMC do better is the seating. Way more comfortable.

YouTube scam-hunter Jim Browning did an undercover investigation in the mechanics of pig butchering scams a few days ago, for anyone who's interested:

Seriously - pretty much every single TV news network in the US is just a constant flow of editorialized garbage and shoddy journalism. It's more than a little depressing to consider that millions of people base their their view of politics on it.

If you're in the US, the Workpro line from Office Depot are pretty good. I picked up the Momentum for about $260 during a sale.
