Yeah I saw that, pretty shitty. I also didn't even realise they had a US division, given how they tout themselves as an Australian company.

I'll mention I went to Fastmail (mainly because they're an Aus company as well as the privacy stuff), so far so good.
Doesn't sound like it
Your prompt — that is, the email you’re writing — is kept in plain text on their server
Besides, I just don't want AI in general, is that too much to ask? I wonder how long it will be until there are companies actively promoting their lack of AI.
I went to Proton for the explicit reason I didn't want Google scanning all my docs. Glad I moved away from them now, hopefully Fastmail doesn't do the same.
Not the whole country but Mallorca and the Canary Islands had similar protests. I do wonder how the south coast feels about all the Brits going there.
I degoogled to Proton mail initially. I didn't like that I couldn't search my emails (a security thing or something? But annoying) and then their Drive was absolutely useless on macos. I had about 100gb and it couldn't sync even half of it.
After much help from support I eventually moved away to a combo of Fastmail, Mega and OnlyOffice.
As a Manxman I approve 👍 I'm actually surprised how much of the Island is still there.
Can you just throw it into space?
Can we say Tesla instead of EV? Normal cars (even EV) have normal handles.

“But I think the pressure at the moment needs to be for like-minded countries that share our values, to stand shoulder-to-shoulder
Definitely. The pressure should be on Australia to join Ireland, Norway and Spain.
I loved my MiniDisc player, I wish Sony had opened up the tech.
