Not to mention winning the Seattle superbowl by having balls of steel and not calling a timeout before the interception, when every other coach would have. He knew the play that was coming. He knew his defense knew the play. And they won that ring because of it.
AFC Championship was basically the Patriots' invitational. Not getting there was perceived as a massive failure and legitimately a bad season.
