It is so hard to believe anything that comes out of the DOJ.
It will be interesting to see if these are being presented out of context or if it was even illegal.
A good Linux community would be great.
If stuff is off topic, then say so and remove it. I do not think that is unreasonable.
I think you will find we have a pretty good crew here with an occasional troll to be dealt with.
We are still at the early stages of looking at Nostr, I would not hold back on account of that.
When you set up your own community, you become the moderator and define the rules in the community. You can add other moderators as you see fit.
At an instance level, I just monitor the reports that come in and make sure sure there is no child porn, etc.
Be smart about the subject lines that appear in the local feed as they effect the whole instance.
I would welcome you to set up and if any problems crop up we will deal with them then.
But you seen how we operate here. We try to censor as little as possible.
Thanks for doing it.
I am going to break this out to a separate post so I can pin it.
Here is what I would do if I was Ron DeSantis to remove this Dominion voting machine albatross from around his neck.
Mike Lindell is coming out with a recommendation for a paper based system next month. DeSantis should have his people check it out, if it is good - then immediately implement it in Florida.
This would do 3 things:
- fix the election system in Florida which despite DeSantis recent win is broken and open to abuse.
- address an issue he has with people like me, who no matter how much we like DeSsntis, cannot get past the fact he has allowed Florida to continue using voting machines and associated technology.
- neutralize Mike Lindell's campaign against DeSantis. Hard for Lindell to continue if Florida has led the way in adopting his paper based system.
There is no downside for DeSantis in going this, it is all upside and would definitely help him in both the primary and the general.
Not in the USA. They had to divest it to get a merger approved
I can imagine.
And he had such a serious look on his face.
That is what I thought
