I think those funds should be given to the employee harmed by the harassment. But somehow I think they'll just fill Bungie's coffers.

That's a pretty sizeable amount of data you need to push. I've never even come remotely close to that.

This is good to see, assuming that is, it will be used for good and honest purposes. I have little trust or faith in any government these days.

I have 300GiBs up and down. Even though it is the lowest cost tier at 49.95 a month, it's still way more than I need. I could honestly get away with 100 up and down.

At the end of this month, I will be at 2.5 months completely on Linux. The only thing stopping me was simply not knowing that Steam and Proton existed for Linux. I can play the games that matter to me on Linux. Good riddance to Windows!

I think the idea is to kind of name and shame the ISPs into doing something to upgrade their shyte infrastructure. I don't really know for sure though. I'll say this: I have Verizon FiOS and it just sucks less than the others.

You've got the right community IMHO. This is something that I've never tackled but I could imagine that it would work. Just make certain you have solid backups just in case the worst should happen.

So I take it that you're not receiving notifications through your browser either, I take it?

Not only that, the longer wave frequencies also have a much narrower bandwidth meaning they cannot carry as much data. In order to improve communications over longer wave lengths, better compression algorithms have to be developed in order for more data to be carried.

Agreed! I mean the article is interesting but also somewhat click-baitish. I get where you're coming from.

That could be I guess.
