Enjoy your high-idle-ram-usage spyware then ;)

Have you considered the fact that your daily driver of an OS should.. idk, work on normal hardware?

Why run it at all if you're going to be wasting that much of your machine's resources on the fucking Desktop Environment?

Imagine unironically defending Microsoft making their product shittier

Maybe they should just make the OS work on any computer? Kinda seems like they're shooting themselves in the foot, yeah?

Want specifics or just the general vibe of me being a dumbie ;)? Stable Diffusion (the web gui version) uses CUDA 11 and all of my attempts to work around this let me w/ either a perma black screen or a 1FPS Desktop Enviornment that leads to a crash of said DE in ~30 seconds or so.

It seems that running that exact NVIDIA driver + Cuda 11 freaks the fuck out and I tried in maybe 5+ ways before giving up and accepting Cuda 12 and no Simple Diffusion (at least on this partition)

This just allows the fed/sec full reign to move to Goldman/etc lol

This will be horrible for fraud in America

Meanwhile Waco's Dr. Erik Davidson is suing the SEC/CAT/Gary Gensler (for Citadel) to attempt to prevent any form of an audit.

You're doing such a great job Texas...

I've broken my Nvidia driver 4x this week and I wouldn't have it any other way (not /s)

Nothing else compares to the flexibility of linux and if I need a kernel-level anti cheat I do it on a separate drive entirely (which can't see my linux BTFS drive at all)

Why hang out on Lemmy.World if you're not a neolib or a bot?

So many better instances that I've blocked LW entirely

One comment and 50 responses about wearing a poncho 🤣

A lot of the comments seem to miss the point of what these cops are likely doing

It’s a prison for 600 people.

By losing 215 people since 2016, they have essentially been jettisoning (either intentionally or by “gang violence”) 5% of the prison each year.

They get FIVE percent more $, but to do so, requires that they kill 5% of the prison (not to mention recruiting the remainder for a total of “105%” revenue). By not reporting it for months, they kept getting federal payments each/every month for food/water/etc.

While I have you, can I posture another question?

I will preface it with this: I want all of you beautiful ppl to move here and join the (very often dumb as fuck) melting pot. But you need to know that I think you are the target of facilities such as these.

When do the feds step in for the southern states' refusal to handle/(process?) migrants across the border?

Because the way I see it...

The easiest way to flood these prisons w/ that special >105% who won't/can't be asked about (if they're still alive) would be to flood migrants in the south with the illusion of a booming job market and a welcoming population (and then use them as pawns and bus them all around the country to cause conflicts)

Adding this for some context about the border (and general demeanor) in Arizona/Texas https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dQ4-VNaG3s

Early morning on the west coast, virtually ALL CSGO Vertigo games are being played by 6-player bot lobbies.

I believe they rotate which player "wins" on the team of 4 real players, while having the remaining 5 afk in spawn until the game ends.

The only way to get into lobbies such as this is when the botter fucks up and accidentally accepts the final 10th invite without every one of his bots queued up.

Realistically, you will queue up for Vertigo 100s of times. Each/every single time the botter will cancel the matchmaking process and hope that the real person doesn't queue up again.

I have submitted several tickets (and obviously reported users unfortunate enough to get me in their lobby), but Valve seems to imply they can't do anything about this...

I now see what Jersan was saying LOL.

How long have they been pinning this to the top of each post?

Why does MP spike every time the LEAPS come into play?

If we take anything past $127.50 at face value (you can't buy those), the max pain goes all the way up to $180.

What happens when these strike prices go away ("forever") after this week?

I assume they're used as locates in some regard, but what does Citadel lose here?

Most of these odd strikes seem to have been first purchased between 11/7/21 and 11/14/21, any significance I'm missing?
