Stalin was a dictator - which is antithetical to the core principles of communism. You cannot be both a communist and a dictator, they are diametrically opposed.

It's a shame Lenin died right after the establishment of the USSR, he disdained everything Stalin became.

Communism is and isn't authoritarian. The establishment is, and the struggle to prevent regress into capitalism is, but for the people who aren't trying to exploit others, it isn't.

Authoritarianism ≠ fascism

Authoritarianism + ultranationalism = fascism.

Communism isn't anything like fascism. Communism, by definition, rejects nationalism, and considers every proletariat family, regardless of nationality and ethnicity. The only enemy of communism is the bourgeoisie (dictators and fascists foremost)

Chinese communist party? China has one of the largest wealth disparities of any country. They spew pollution out of newly built coal plants because they care about money above all else. They're capitalists for fuck sake!

I can see how for some people it might be, but I tried therapy for a few weeks, but I didn't find it helpful. I have plenty of people I can talk to about various issues. I think therapy might work for me, but I would need someone really talented and spend a fortune.

As much as I love XFCE, it isn't ready for Wayland.

I just started KDE today for Wayland. It's not as bad as I remembered it.

I would look for a setting in the UEFI to delay the startup, it might be that it's too quick.

If you need to reboot into the UEFI you can use:

systemctl reboot --firmware-setup

It's 50/50, he normally covers drama news first, and saves the big stories for the back end, he always includes timestamps, so if that's not your thing you can skip around.

I'm looking forward to XFCE/Wayland.

I started Linux 2 years ago, and learned a lot, but never bothered learning about X11 because I figured it would be a waste of time.

I don't get how people don't understand that down voting for stuff like this is not good for the communities overall health.

OP asked a question, and you answered it. You weren't shilling, so what's the issue?

I like watching Phillip DeFranco in ~~YouTube~~ Invidious. When covering major stories he is very good at delivering crutial information simply and quickly, and while he does have opinions, they are always very transparent, so you can spot the bias from the facts. Also, he has a habit of correcting the rare mistakes this beautiful bastard makes.
