Is it worth it to buy NAS specific HDDs vs Normal ones? in c/datahoarder@selfhosted.forum

The NAS HDDs and Enterprise HDDs are superior to regular/Desktop designed ones. As for the NAS itself, I prefer a PC for its expandability, ease of servicing and for the fact that you get two devices in one, a server and a PC at the same time.

Corsair Flash Voyager drives. You can play tennis with them and then dive into the Mariana trench with them around your neck if you wish.
