A house hold device that can diagnose most sicknesses with a drop of blood or saliva

I went from maybe 1 - 2 hours of reddit use per day for years to 0 the day 3rd party clients were turned off.

I don't feel fomo, but I only use lemmy maybe 15 - 30 minutes per day on average, and I am happy about that

On a serious note, it blows my mind how negligent almost everyone is to their hearing. Absolutely insane to allow permanent destruction of your hearing when extremely simple and cheap protection is available.

Even people who use PPE needed for specific tasks often neglect hearing protection.

Except that seems exceptionally stupid, why in the world would he waste that much money to take down a platform that can and is already being replaced by competitors?

I think y'all are conspiracy crazy

It wouldn't be, on Linux at least

When I said privacy respecting software, I definitely did not mean windows or Mac lol. Open source is the only way to actually know something respects your privacy, so both those pieces of software are inherently not that. Linux for life!

While this would be terrible if it passes, a part of me hopes a silver lining would be a massive surge in open source development focusing on privacy respecting software that does not follow or enable this disgusting behavior by the eu

Ever think the US based company is trying to do something for it's American user's? Makes sense to me. Almost nobody in America uses WhatsApp or other messaging apps, at least in my experience so far.
