There are a couple of things that make this easier :

  1. throw your trimmings from vegetables into freezer bags. Then freeze them until you have a day to make broth. Onion peels color broth, so don't forget to save those.
  2. concentrate the broth. Once you have the flavor you like, strain out the chunks and put it back on a simmer until there's 1/4 to 1/2 the volume.
  3. pour the concentrated broth into muffin tins and freeze. Pop them out and throw them in a freezer bag. You now have individually portioned condensed broth that you can throw in whatever you're cooking.

I've owned nearly every version of the nook, and haven't had a problem getting stuff onto it.

For hosting my collection, I use https://vaemendis.net/ubooquity/ it has a built in reader that saves states, but I primarily download to my nook and read with moon reader +.

There's a docker compose and env file in https://github.com/zedd00/Boater-HAT/blob/master/docker-compose.yml that have my entire setup.

Windows DevOps techbro here. I am 100% sure when ads are embedded in Windows, we'll sort out a way to block them. My entire career is based on my ability to bend windows to my will, and I'm not about to let it advertise at me.

That being said, look at grabbing a steam deck to learn Linux. It provides an easy way to fuck around with Linux, while giving you some training wheels for when you break it.

Paid. I'm in the process of moving, once I'm settled, I'll throw some GPU at your other project.
