Where’s the mechanical keyboard communities? Not that I need to see any more kb things to waste my money on. 😂

Obsidian does… sorta. They call it “canvas”. But I think it’s more for visually connecting notes to other notes, not to connect different things within a given note.

I recently started doing this for everything with Simple Login. You can create aliases either ahead of time or configure them to be ad hoc. I went the route of a custom subdomain, but that’s not required.

I mean we’ve all been looking for signs of the apocalypse lately, right? Can’t be coincidence.

IMO, yep. I understand why it’s not where it “needs” to be yet. I’ve had to make a Lemmy alt cuz kbin mobile kept being weird, and while Artemis exists, it’s been having more issues of late as well. Meanwhile the Lemmy apps are becoming more and more polished.

Yea I try to do that too. And then make sure it doesn’t end up a ridiculous run on sentence. 😭

I do this so much at work and have to constantly remind myself not to overdo it (otherwise people will think I’m crazy).

I think I only knew about it from seeing a post about the expected Jade income for 1.4.

Oh sweet! Thanks for all the prompt replies!

Sweet, a free trial might be enough too!

My issue with Bean’s version is that it takes the different communities, but stacks the posts from each. Basically taking the top 10 posts from community 1, then appends top 10 posts from community 2, and so on. I feel it would be more useful to have all the posts (and even if it’s just 10) from each community and then sort. So they’re mixed together and you don’t have to scroll a lot to see “all” the relevant posts in the group.

And I’m not trying to be critical of you or Bean’s dev. Just sharing my opinion.

Would it possible to have a demo and/or explanation as to how the Community Groups work? I’d be interested in that, but was sort of burned by my own expectations of Bean’s version of the feature not living up to reality.

Maybe someway for us to see how the Pro features work, to help push us over the edge of buying/subscribing.

Similar for me. I always redeem them. But honestly don’t think I’ll ever use or play any of them.
