About the dock, I would add that if you want to do emulation stuff, a dock with kb/mouse makes it a lot easier. Can you do it with the trackpad and on screen keyboard, yes. Will you hate yourself for trying after 5 minutes, also yes. 😂 Maybe it was just me, I found doing anything other than basic settings changes nearly impossible without kb/mouse.

That sucks, especially since they appear to not even be attempting to replicate one of Mint’s core features. Glad I chose YNAB all those years ago!

I haven’t driven anything quite that fast. But in my experiences the gas pedal is just more sensitive. I’ve never experienced one that has any noticeably longer travel. In terms of co trolling it around town, that’s why you have different gears. Especially since a good portion of cars are automatic/semi-automatic/dual clutch systems that do the work for you. And when some of these systems have more than 5 or 6 gears like normal cars.

Interesting idea. I wonder what the Sun is then? Since that’s where the investiture is seeming to come from.

I also wonder why there isn’t any area on the ground that is in sunlight but not the full scale, investiture-fueled firestorm. Nomad experienced it at the peak of the mountain, but that same phenomenon had to exist elsewhere on the planet, wouldn’t it? Maybe the smallness of the planet is the reason for that but it just got me thinking.

And yea Facebook sucks, but it’s how I can keep some semblance of social interaction by lurking what other people are doing. 😭

Have you read Ready Player One? Cuz they more or less did that in the book. If not, I highly recommend it. The sequel isn’t quite as good, but was still fun.

I wonder why they’re not releasing (or don’t know) the cause of death? Really crazy story though, and it sucks this dude was so fucked up that he fucked up not only his family’s life but also the judge’s.

I’ll give them credit for doing this. But why is it not available on a standard controller too? Only the adaptive one (which I admit I know very little about), and the Elite… which happens to be very expensive. Hopefully it will make its way to the normal controllers eventually.

I don’t know about Zettlr, but last I looked at Logseq it worked off markdown files similar to Obsidian.

That said, I felt Logseq wasn’t quite ready for prime time when I was doing my research a year or so ago. So I went with Obsidian and have been very happy with it.
