It probably has to do with your location and possibly your plan too. My carrier is Spectrum, who uses Verizon’s towers. I’m not in a major city or anything but I consistently maintain a 5G connection when I’m not on Wi-Fi or away from home no matter where I go and sometimes it’s even 5G UW, which seems a little more random but damn is it fast.

Get a case, be smart and avoid not just cracking the front or back glass, but also avoid the dents, deep gashes, and scratches that you’ll get without a case if you drop it with a bad landing.
Check out the Caudabe Sheath. I think you’ll like it.
I think your USB-C cable contracted herpes.
Are you using USB-C to HDMI or AirPlay? I know a lot of services don’t allow this for some stupid reason, but idk if the new USB-C to HDMI behaves the same way as AirPlay always has.
Go to Apple ASAP and have them check it out. Explain what you explained to us here and they will likely swap out the screen or give you a replacement iPhone while it’s still under warranty. If you have Apple Care, use it. If not, I’d say you might want to get Apple Care before you do anything like visiting Apple, but if gouging can’t use the touch screen I don’t know how you can add Apple Care to it unless iTunes / Finder (or another program) can read the information about the phone you need to add Apple Care.
iPhone 15 Pro Max without question. The biggest reason besides upgraded hardware is that it uses USB-C so it is future proof and USB-C charging and data transfer speeds are a LOT faster than Lightning.
Carrot is pretty amazing and always my primary weather source. Then my second go-to is the official Apple Weather, which integrates Dark Sky (whom Apple bought a while back).
