Biden and company had the chance to put Trump in jail immediately after Jan 6. Trump did some blatantly illegal shit and most of the country was aghast. He prioritized other shit and appointed Merrick Does Nothing Garland because of vibes or something. So Trump and the media was able to rehabilitate his image and memory hole the attack on our constitution.
Biden could have worked on court reform since this fascism is coming from the fed soc six. Nothing he did would stand up to them, but he made a blue ribbon panel that said it was all good. The justices then gave Trump immunity to do whatever the fuck he wants. Meaning he can pardon people for criminal acts. There is no check anymore.
The Dems should have seen what is coming from the fascists. They even called Trump a fascist, half heartedly given that they also wished him well after he got shot (or maybe they are just cool with fascists?). They knew about project 2025. But are we seeing any resistance to the destruction of our government from them? No. But I am getting plenty of fundraising texts.

It’s wild that Marcus Aurelius had so many kids in part to help the empire when he was the last of the five good emperors who were all adopted into the family. I’ve always thought that they were the good emperors because they actually were selected for the job. I don’t know if there is scholarship to back that up or just an assumption I’ve made. But it seems like the empire would have been better served by adopting someone with talent.
