Sorry about that. Was half asleep when i posted that and forgot.

It's called a hypnic jerk and it's not 100% understood why they happen but one theory is that the brain confuses the relaxing of the muscles during the falling asleep process with actually falling to which the brain reacts to with twitching your muscles. Nicotine and caffeine may make them happen more often.

Someone give that poor guy a safety cap or something.

I always love seeing how an artist's work changes over time.

Let's hope that cracking noise was the bed and not his spine.
