They made it 1/10th of a century. So far, so good, right?

I don't use DDG, but below your article was this one saying they discontinued their tracking agreement with Microsoft:

Near the bottom, this article says the exact opposite of its headline - that Reddit is restoring deleted data, even if it should be legally deleted. ☹️

Replace the abortion issue with guns and you get another set of voters who will vote Republican regardless of what they might personally feel.

The funny part is, Trump suggested to take away guns first, and do due process second - and these 2nd Amendment goobers still voted for him.

Being in jail does not disqualify him, unfortunately. Only an impeachment would do that, and Republicans would stand fast against that.

Done-zo. Viva Lemmy and @seahorse@midwest.social !

These things are definitely worth a donating to, as I do with my Mastodon instances.

I'm turned off by his positions, him being an anti-vaxxer, and a general conspiracy theorist. What a loser, who sullies the legacy his last name.

Protospiel is the premier game development convention hosted at several places in North America. The longest-running one is definitely Protospiel Michigan. The event has been showcasing "games from the future" in Michigan since about 2004 or so.

What you'll find at Protospiel are a few dozen game designers who have their latest creations ready to spring on the public. If you have designed a game, or dreamed of designing a game, this convention will give you the boost you need. Some of the best games at Protospiel go on to being published.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I'm not associated with the convention other than being a happy customer. I've made a pilgrimage to Ann Arbor almost every year since about 2006 for Protospiel.

Oh, good Lord, now I'm embarrassed. 😂 I keep wanting to write a prequel for the Beetmonger's Journal where I'm not forced up against a deadline. The first half of it is pretty good and polished. The second half was rushed by the contest I was entering. So, if you play the first half and like it, stop there! 😂But the concept was weird and solid - imagining there was an ancient secret society of beetmongers (like freemasons) what would they be like? I also had fun playing with the traditional perspective of IF games, and instead of 2nd-person, I made it in 3rd person (with a present narrator) and 1st person (wrtiting in a diary).

I also love the Gostak - and I was one of the playtesters for that one before its release, back in ancient times!

Nowadays, my time is taken up by board & card games - I've designed a couple, illustrated a couple. I'm also a part-time magician which takes care of most of the creative stuff, and magicianing actually turned into a positive cashflow hobby-side-hustle. (Thus, my moniker.)

@seahorse I'm getting a "has expired or has been deleted" error when clicking the link.

Cool! What interactive fiction is your favorite? I'm an oldster, so I love the old Infocom stuff, but I also programmed my own back in the 90s-00s.
