I like the shading. Character design reminds of newgrounds style, especially the madness series.

Spooktober is always popular. Don't forget monster movies as well.

Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragonball, also does the art for Dragon Quest. If you like DBZ and haven't heard of Dragon Quest you should check it out!

I read a cool article about this game recently! Amazing how it was so ahead of its time.

For my playthrough I chose

Neon Street Rat

It was nice to feel like I had a history somewhere. It doesn't come up a lot, but when it does it feels satisfying. Especially when questing on Neon. You feel street smart.

Wanted

Kind of mid on this one. I didn't run into a lot of space combat in my playthrough, so having these guys show up here and there was nice. The bit of story you get is ok but I wish there was more.

Parents

Absolutely fantastic, and it is going to be hard to skip on future playthroughs. Its a bit of a bummer they miss your wedding, but between all the free stuff and the unexpecting places you run into them it is 100% worth it.

Skyrim is my favorite game of all time. I've played through it many times on many different characters. Sometimes I speedrun, sometimes I do all factions, sometimes I get lost roleplaying and I never beat it.

Spoilers kind of, but when you beat the game you get some cool rewards. New spells, new shouts, new summons. And a new song plays in taverns and the people of the world react with new dialogue. You also get new quests. But I've only experienced these things for short periods. Because as soon as I beat the game I lose all drive to play it.

In the back of my mind, as I'm doing those side quests and factions, and decorating my house, and goofing off underneath Riften, its all building up to the finale. Even if I never reach that end point something inside me needs it to be there for me to keep playing. I've had playthroughs where I try to save everything fun until after the main quest and I still can't get myself to do it. I just stop playing.

I wish there was new game plus where I could keep those end game spells and summons, but still have the main quest to do over. I've looked into mods and what I want doesnt fully exist but this mod at least saves your skills and gold.

I've talked to a lot of people about Skyrim and similar games and no one has ever felt the same way so maybe I'm just odd. I'd be curious to hear if anyone else goes through this.

IMO the worst part is the ads that auto-scroll you to the top of the page after you've spent two minutes reading

Man o' War! I can definitely see that

I stumbled across this game and its art while watching a gamesack vid about pcengine-CD games. I love how many potraits they made and how expressive they are. And honestly I've just discovered I really love 16bit character art.

I am trying to find out if you can still recruit Minthara if you go through the underdark instead of taking the mountain pass. Everything online says to take the pass but no one mentions the underdark. And if you try to google Minthara recruitment all the results are about destroying the grove.

I'm sure theres nothing online because its so trivial but I really dont want to waste a bunch of time doing the underdark and having to reload. This is my drow playthrough and I want to do as much drow stuff as possible. I know SOMEONE has tried this so if that's you please let me know!

Lots of half rendered people and missing floors. Excited for the xbox version but part of me will miss scenes like this
