I’m genuinely considering not visiting them on weekends anymore

Just had an argument about Israel-Palestine with my parents that was essentially them being like “yeah I agree 100 Palestinians will be killed for every 1 Israeli but that’s not an asymmetrical relationship because (??? They just insisted it wasn’t asymmetrical and refused to interrogate that point even though I pushed on it) and it’s actually fine to indiscriminately bomb in retaliation but we totally agree that the situation in Gaza and the West Bank is bad don’t worry but also no one’s calling for the eradication of the Palestinian people but also we are vehemently against ending the bombing campaign and ooh the Arab nations don’t want to take Palestinian refugees and we would be happy to offload them there (WHAT THE FUCK DAD)” and ended with me, after constantly being overridden by them, losing my cool and telling them to shut up, to which my mom replied “Fuck you, don’t fucking talk to me like that, you’re siding with people who hate us”
