This corporate consolidation helps more people than it hurts.

Corporate consolidation isn’t just always a bad thing. This would be a good thing for basically everyone that’s not exclusively a PlayStation-only player.

Same actors != not a reboot. Iirc they’re going to have gal gadot as Wonder Woman again but are rebooting her character so the 2 previous movies are not canon, didn’t happen.

If they’re making a new series that has literally nothing to do with the previous one, zero connection to anything that happened in it, how is it not a reboot? Should they use different actors just to justify it being a reboot?

It’s not done yet, definitely still a good chance it’s blocked. I don’t think it should be, but it very well could be.

Exactly. He’d be a terrible exec if he didn’t want to.

They all want a monopoly, not just Microsoft. Microsoft are just the only ones that could afford it.

It is a complete reboot though isn’t it? The original show on Netflix isn’t part of the canon of this one? If so then I don’t really get their complaint.

Most phones and tablets that do this simply keep it charging to 80, not stopping it there and bypassing, so that’s most likely what it will do. Having battery bypass would be a pretty big feature that they would announce, especially with the new big AAA games announcement.

I have mixed feelings about them basically stopping you from being able to use “harvested” parts. It’s bad because obviously it makes repairs harder, but it’s good because it basically means stealing someone’s phone is completely pointless as it can’t be used and it also now can’t be sold for parts.

Thomas’s comments following the resignation of advisory group member Assoc Prof Marlene Longbottom, who claimed she would not work with police again. Indigenous activist Gracelyn Smallwood also quit in protest in March, saying she no longer believed her work would lead to “necessary changes”.

An indigenous advisory board that the indigenous people on it are quitting because they feel nothing is being done. Pretty relevant at the moment.

Google’s tight grip is because of Google play services, not AOSP. Without Google play services AOSP is useless for 99% of people.

I live going to the store to buy the new Sony WH1000XM5s, the name just rolls off the tongue.
