They've already defederated us, so they would probably defederate with you anyway. That instance is a cesspool though. I'm guessing that the mod in question was the moron in charge of 196?
They aren't federated with us. So I'm sure it's in the works.
This. I was surprised to find that they were even federated with hexbear. Lemmy.ca was on my shortlist of instances to join when I was moving to Lemmy. Blocking lemmygrad was reason enough to find a different instance.
Having grown up native in Canada, I assure you that this is the view held by the majority.

196 is the one and only community I blocked. But I feel it reflects very poorly on their instance that the mods are allowed to ban leftists with impunity.
