I know there's rescue orgs that literally come into your home like CPS and assess the house, surroundings, family, etc to see if it's a good fit. Epic failure for this org not doing this. After this stunt, their ethics seem questionable.

Not too many have the affordability to care for a high needs, vulnerable dog, especially in this economy. Totally to your point of her follower count and how the organization probably thought it would be an easy sell, given the optics of her "following", but also tone deaf with somebody with her financial stability, trying to pawn the dog off to somebody with a bleeding heart, but empty bank account.

Well. They just exposed themselves for truly not giving a shit and would rather clout chase a fake influencer, over putting the needs of a vulnerable animal first. AND after people messaged them out of concern too. How gross
