Yeah I feel like that's pretty squarely next to debian as traditional and open source.

I have proxmox running on PC in my closet. So far not a ton of things hosted on it:

Current:

Minecraft (vanilla) on debian
Valheim on debian
A debian VM running some tools (namely dynamic DNS)

Planned:

Plex!
Prolly more game servers

KBin has taken over Lemmy in monthly active users count in c/technology@beehaw.org

To me that looks like a fairly non-controversial perspective amongst leftists and communists (especially internationally). But that's just my (communist) perspective.
