This is what worked for me, I thought I was an introvert but turns out I was an extrovert burdened by mad social anxiety, I made some of my best friends over talking about breaking bad shitposts in a summercamp few years ago (I am a highschooler) than after relizing people apreciated who I was rest came naturaly. I became a lot more social person in general

Yes it degrades security, yes it is worth it for my usecase at least

Like any social media, they make themselves irreplaceable through addiction than users feel like there is no alternative and the company can abuse users as they will.
I have been using /e/OS for almost a year now and haven't encountered any bugs this might be due to the the OS maturing since the time you tried. Just adding as a clarification for anyone who may wanna try it
