PSA: Tari launched today, merge mining is now available for P2Pool miners Starting from today, all P2Pool miners can merge mine Monero and Tari - your hashrate can mine two coins at the same time.

You will need to run Tari software in addition to P2Pool:

./p2pool --wallet YOUR_MONERO_WALLET_ADDRESS --merge-mine tari://TARI_NODE_IP:18102 TARI_WALLET_ADDRESS

and

./minotari_node --grpc-enabled --mining-enabled

TARI_NODE_IP is 127.0.0.1 if you run both on the same machine (recommended).

Merge mining is available on Tari's mainnet:

Download Tari suite for your OS

Run Minotari node and wait until in synchronizes

Run Minotari console wallet to create a Tari wallet.

Copy the interactive wallet address from the "Receive" tab of the wallet

Paste it into the P2Pool command line above

Everything is ready now to start merge mining Monero and Tari!

Tari block explorer: https://explore.tari.com/

Note that Tari will be mined in solo mode (only full Tari blocks can be mined for now). This doesn't affect P2Pool payouts - they will stay the same.

The rate of miners had some major fluctuations between 150 MH/s and 120 MH/s, but has now remained in this range for over an hour. Average blocks Effort 91.57%

Anyone who needs XMR should use these options:

  • Buy Monero XMR with the RetoSwap.com program directly from other people via the Tor network.
  • Convert Bitcoin to XMR on UnstoppableSwap.net.
  • Safely swap cryptocurrencies on BasicSwapDEX.com without central points of failure.

Of course you are always welcome to talk about XMR Monero. There are some Bitcoin copies but the one that has the term 'cash' in its name, BCH, is of course particularly interested in Monero, the real digital cash since 2014.

But all the good features of the real Monero cash are at best imitated by the Bitcoin copies, but not even close to being equaled. A good example of Monero's superior technology is the dynamic block size, whose function has already successfully proven its resistance and mass suitability in reality.

You can easily exchange BCH for XMR Monero.

remove the false “untraceable” claim

Yes, we can't write “If your device is not compromised” and “If no one is looking over your shoulder when you use it” and “If you don't use an operating system that spies on and analyzes all processes” and “If you use apps that contain trackers and evaluate and spy on your processes” and and and - But of course all this applies among many other points.

If you look at the price of the centralized trading platforms, you must know that it can be influenced by many unnatural factors. The decentralized trading price, or what people are willing to pay, can be seen very clearly at the moment: https://haveno.markets/

Hi, maybe someone reading this is looking for decentralized trustless exchanges for digital currencies like BCH or XMR.

Take a break from Twitter

  • If you use the Tor Browser or the Mullvad Browser you will see the popup of NoScript - because your identity at X can be open to other websites in your web browser. Keep your privacy in mind.

  • You may leave traces without realizing it. The way you write, what you read about and how much, when you are active, etc. Remember, if you are a Monero XMR user, you may not want this at all!

  • Mental hygiene; it feels good not to be at the mercy of the posts there for a while. Try it out!

  • It usually takes up a lot of your time without you doing anything productive.

  • Elon Musk himself is a major disinformation disseminator on his own platform. But many of the posts there are also questionable.

  • X Using Your Tweets to Train Its AI. And even if you have deactivated the artificial intelligence option, the users you interact with probably haven't deactivated it. Because it was introduced without notifying the users.

new GetMonero.org website in Astro

First demo view:

Did someone say 0% mining fees?

Actually no fees for pool mining, how do you do that?

This is about the official, decentralized Monero mining pool.

The rewards are automatically sent directly to your mining wallet address even for small pool payouts.

Who still uses the old pools from third-party providers, which also charge fees and have relatively high payout limits?

Sometimes I think we just have to mention it twice a day to get it heard. 0% fees, official Monero pool.

Honestly, 0%? Yes, 0%.

Whenever possible, use QR codes from sub-addresses to share your wallet.

Alphanumeric character strings, as we know our wallets, are much easier for analysis companies and AI to collect and analyze.

P2Pool fork October 12th, 2024

Technically speaking, the new software has been running for some time - but the hashrate of P2pool is still around 7% of the Monero network. So everything seems to be running as expected. Any feedback, is the new version more demanding for the servers @XMRvsBeast? Did everything go smoothly as expected?

I assume the next revuo issue will cover it.

Fraud eXMR

An article on coinmarketcap caught my attention because Monero was mentioned. It mentioned a centralized exchange called yobit, which I had never heard of before, so I did some research.

It seems EXMR is offered there.

Perhaps the websites concerned will be made aware that this is a scam, the name 'Monero' and 'XMR' are being used. coinmarketcap.com also has a certain responsibility due to its reach.
