CEO wants the plebs to drag him into the street and beat him to within an inch of his life.

And this is why I will always own a normal outdoor pedal bike. Pay for it one time, and I have the tools on hand to modify and repair it. Get one of these babies and pop your bike in it and book instant indoor spinning.

Suck it Musk.

If money weren't an issue, I would refuse to comply. Bring it, let's go to court; but that might not be a viable option for small businesses. Even if they could win in court, I imagine if you're operating on thin margins, it's too expensive. Only other option would be for venues to do cash at door only for events, no identifying information.

In my city we have a street called central avenue which is very congested and unsafe to cycle on. There is a street 1 block over that runs parallel, and has bike lanes. I use that street with the bike lanes daily to commute and run errands. All day long people double park in them because they are too special to find a parking spot, so I have to endanger myself going into traffic to go around them. I fantasize about carrying an aluminum bat so I could hit their mirrors as I cycle by.

I sort of think that the only way to make visa/mastercard reverse course is to boycott the fuck out of them. Go back to using cash to make EVERY purchase. Purchase physical copies of games every time with cash. (I've been able to link games to my steam account purchased this way.) No longer buy skins and loot crates, and battle passes. Same goes with media. Go back to hard CDs for music/movies. Starve them of income any place you can, which would fuck with the business models of so many other companies that want your debit and cc on file for streaming services and subscriptions.

Our cat gets fed small amounts 4x a day for the same reason. You feed him and 15 minutes later he's begging for more food. I've been working on extinguishing begging behavior by fucking with him relentlessly. He comes over to beg, and I act like I'm walking to the kitchen, then at the last second veer off to the bathroom. Or I will walk to the kitchen and pretend I'm going to open the cupboard where his food is, only to veer off at the last second and open the glass cupboard and just get a drink of water instead. Usually after 15 - 30 minutes of trolling him, he stops begging and goes back to napping.

I missed that, yeah that does suck.

The union representing workers across Northern California said they overwhelmingly voted to authorize a strike last week, with a 95% approval.
