Yes. It has both a whitelist federation only mode and a completely private mode.

Adguard works by setting up a virtual VPN and blocking adds that go through it.

Is it possible to disable blurring for NSFW content? in c/lemmy@lemmy.ml

You can use an app like Jerboa which supports unblurring.

So I'm definitely missing something with Lemmy...I've tried creating an account on their site, but it's never gone through. I know we get the same stuff on kbin as we do on Lemmy, but I was curious to in c/fediverse@kbin.social

There's hundreds of different Lemmy instances. On which one did you try to sign up? Lemmy.world?

I don't think my phone ever asked me about health data or religion. That's why I find this so confusing.

How tf would a phone even have a way to provide that data to an app? Anyone know how exactly this works?

Is there a FOSS Android app that tries to collect all data it can and then show it to you? in c/privacy@lemmy.ml

Theory: the only reason Meta cares about the fediverse / ActivityPub is so that threads isn't labeled a "gatekeeper" under the EU's new "Digital Markets Act" in c/fediverse@lemmy.world

Apparently you can use it if you just download the apk file from a third party mirror site, but it's not available via app stores.

I was playing ESO for some time, finding antiquities by simply trying to find the excavation site by sight. Little did I know that there was a collectible that you can equip that point to its exact location.
