Not really Richard Dawkins' original definition of the term when he created it was on the lines of

A meme is an idea, behavior, or style that spreads by means of imitation from person to person within a culture and often carries symbolic meaning representing a particular phenomenon or theme.

One of the earliest internet memes was just to photoshop "All Your Base Is Belong To Us" on everything.

4chan used to be the internet meme factory where ideas were copied and mutated before they broke out to the wider internet to go viral.

Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman. Rise and shine. Not that I wish to imply you have been sleeping on the job. No one is more deserving of a rest. And all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until... well, let's just say your hour has come again. The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the ashes.

This. Not Scottish, but I wear a kilt whole summer everywhere. Fortunately our company does not have a dress code at the office.

Finland. Of course that is exaggerated and there are always some chronically late people, but being any kind of late without a notice is frowned upon. That's why we get along with Germans way better than southern europeans.

Not here. Normal is at least 5 minutes early and the fashionably late types come on the dot. If you end up even 5 minutes late, you should inform the host immediately when you realize you could be running late.

That is neat.

But also hundreds of inexperienced admins running the same exact software with an HTML injection vulnerability is not so neat. https://sopuli.xyz/post/1180773
