To be fair National Coalition is mostly just an economically conservative party and socially at least somewhat progressive, but they had to get in bed with the nationalist Finns party and christian democrats to form a majority government. So now they are in a situation where they have to support their allies as a whole even though some of their elected members really diagree with them.

The last election resulted a very right wing majority, so they are planning a lot of restrictions on immigration and wellfare and have been outspoken against LGBT rights.

The latest turn was Minister of Economic Affairs being forced to resign in a record time because all the times he had been flirting with actual nazi groups started being brought up.

Some other members of his party have been seemingly sincerely suggesting limiting press freedom after that.

The guy chosen to follow him just Monday posted some tweets about a journalist that were deemed as harassment. This isn't his first time being accused of harassment.

Venäjän federaatio on liittovaltio, joka koostuu 83 itsehallinnollisesta osasta, federaatiosubjektista eli liittovaltiosubjektista. Niitä on kuudella tasolla: tasavallat, autonomiset piirikunnat, alueet, aluepiirit, autonominen alue ja liittokaupungit.

Olisi jo aika paljon valmiina hallintorakenteita, siis kokonaisia tasavaltojakin presidentteineen joilta vain puuttuu armeija ja suorat ulkomaan suhteet.

Priorities shifted, "we're doing good" became "we need to reduce the workforce" over weekend and most of the people who they would have liked to keep decided this is a good time to look for something new.

I probably owe most of my navigation skills to the original GTA games. I cannot orient myself if the map keeps spinning with me. It's easier to me mentally keep track where everything is relative to each other on a stationary map facing north and I am the only thing moving and turning. Also when the originals had only a paper map where you had yo first find yourself and until San Andreas only showing your current location and the locations of points of interest on the separate map menu without any indicator of direction you should head while actually driving, I learned to prefer the simplest path instead of trying to find the shortest way. Least number of turns and clear landmarks where to take them is the strategy I keep utilising to this day in real life also, so I don't need to keep my eyes or ears glued to the phone and blindly try follow it.

Mainstream users value ease of use in a way only a centralised service can offer. Also any social service has the hurdle of being where everyone else is, so every other person in your circles must follow what the simplest and laziest one bothers to use. If you have to resort explaining anything how the platform technically works to use it or to find you, you have already lost.

But I think these platforms are crossing the critical mass (if not already happened) to be useful and fun for those who choose to overcome the tiny hurdles of using the platform. It may be even their strength that not everyone and their mother is active there.

Yes, it should also verify you are actually generating valid codes before completely switching on and possibly locking you out. The link did open an OTP app when clicked on a phone, but I could not choose which one and it seems the one that was opened would not have worked based on those posts I linked.

PSA about 2-factor auth: verify you can login with it before signing out if you enable it.

Yes, I would have preferred plain cuneiform, but could not find a transcription.
