I wonder if in the future, millennials and gen z will become the new boomers and gen X.
That will make me kinda sad. I just hope we don't go down the same path...

I think I haven't slept as little as these past few weeks. 🥲
Get off work, play NMS for 3 to 4 hours and have dinner. Join my brother for BG3 co-op. Look at the time and suddenly it's 1am. Start getting stuff ready to leave only to get lost on some side quest... When I finally have enough it's 3am...
Hey!
What do you mean you can't co-op? I'm playing with my friend and we're actually a party of 3
I'm on steam, he's on gamepass on PC, and his SO is on gamepass on xbox. So considering all this madness works, I don't see why you should have issues :(
Let me know if I can help you somehow :)
Currently playing Baldur's Gate 3, 2 player co-op and it's been an absolute blast.
Recently a friend started playing No Man's Sky and I joined in to help him get started and give him some tips... Only to get re-addicted to it myself so now I'm split between BG3 and NMS 🥲
As a gw2 veteran (in the sense of owning the game for a long time, not that I am very good at it) I'm pretty sure you'll like it! I honestly feel sad for how overlooked GW2 is...
The community is great, don't be afraid to ask for help if you're stuck on a quest or a puzzle. More often than not people will go out of their way to help you!
Never heard of skill up but now I'm curious about their review :)
Edit: I haven't tried the new Xpack yet, but I've heard it's great! Might buy it later on discount since I'm not planning on playing for a couple of months at least.
Oh... That seems nice! I like PoE but yeah, it does get too complex.
When I was studying and had a lot of free time, that would've probably been a plus to me back then. But today PoEs extensive build options are just a headache...
I'll try last epoch for sure! As I thought D3 (although fun) was a bit too simple on the builds.
Honestly, having know this I wouldn't have bought D4 in the first place.
It was expensive as fuck for a game that I played a week at most, and got boring. Not saying the game isn't great on some aspects. The story and graphics are amazing but... other than that it's not that interesting late game.
Spending 60€+ on a game that has battle passes and an ingame shop on top of it, for them to add one expansion a year after, yearly? Wtf
It's true what they say. Blizzard has gotten greed af.
This has probably been the last game I will ever buy from them. There are already Diablo 4 private servers, I think I'll just wait until those catch up with those expansions...
Please don't fuck toothbrushes :(
Yeah, I've noticed I do feel more at ease on my living room now. But the only console I own is a Nintendo switch and I games that aren't multiplayer bore me faster, and switch's multiplayer games don't really speak to me too much...
Well you could in theory, use XPadder or something like that to play with a remote controller on PC. It's not ideal by any means though...
With that + steam streaming to the TV App (just add the game as non steam) you could play WoW. Not anything competitive though lol. Just questing simple stuff or easier dungeon content.
Same. I can't even be in the same room anymore. Somehow made gaming there feel like a chore as well...
So bored of games, that I'll go work on some other stuff (home servers) and just taking care of day to day life stuff. Maybe I'm just growing up, but I never thought I'd be bored of games... Ever...
I still prefer working remotely though!
God damn I was scared af when I read the title. Thought API was gone for good...
Opened the link and it's just temporary to avoid spoilers. Thank god...
My parents are (early) Gen X. In general I don't think you are transparent or ignored. I'm not saying this isn't your case though.
I appreciate my parents and even though they are "outdated" on some stuff, I value them immensely. For instance, if it wasn't for my dad I likely would never have gotten into omputers. And that would've led me not have my current job (probably). I owe everything to them.
In fact, in my country at least (not US), I'm pretty sure Boomers + Gen X make up the majority of the voting power due to declining birth/death rates. (These stats are 100% pulled out of my ass, so they can very well be wrong.)
So, if anything you're the ones who hold more power (again, in my country at least).
What I'm trying to say is, things aren't as black and white as this stupid memes make them seem. We're all collectively messed up somehow. :)
