Old thread, but a mix of saddle position, saddle height, and saddle type. Sometimes playing with the tilt of your bars, too. And grips can make a huge difference.

My city ebike has a mid stock saddle, but after moving it back and adjusting the tilt so that it's like a 1 degree decline, it helps make it a lot more comfortable (male).

My mountain bike had a terrible stock saddle that made my groin fall asleep. I switched to a saddle from these guys:

Which is rock hard, but has good scalloping for my bones and blood flow. So even though it isn't plush, I can ride it for ages or back to back days without going numb in an hour. Granted, you aren't on the saddle much for downhill, but it's great for earning your turns on singletrack with lots of uphill.

Ahh, fair. I unfortunately use the back roller bags you just had blow apart :P

This might be better for my diehard biking buddy. We test drove the smallish model, and he was having a hell of a time trying to use it while we were biking behind him and shrieking with laughter. His feet were so big that his foot was either hitting the rack on the back, or the front wheel whenever he was pedaling.

This resulted in him limping around three blocks with a dorky demo vest on, while we shouted suggestions and he indignantly tried to find a body position that allowed him to ride xD

Don't tell them about cars, they'll ban them if they learn that they contain highly flammable and explosive vapors :(

$4,500 for a non-removable battery, lol.

I'll sell you this $35,000 car with a full tank of gas, but the fuel door has been welded shut from the inside :)

This is really interesting, but I'm not quite sure where you'd use it. Is it safe to be used on multi-use trails? I could see this struggling to navigate some of our protected bike lanes here.

I like the idea a lot, but I suspect you'd need a lot more green ways and healthy roads before it could be better used in NA.

You can twist to brake with skis too! (hockey stop) :)

You shouldn't be exerting too much muscle if you are skiing on relatively unbroken terrain. The only time you really use a lot of leg muscle is in deep, deep, heavy powder, in order to keep your tips up. Or if you are going over huge moguls or bumps at a high rate of speed, using your legs as giant shock absorbers.

If you have tight boots, sharp ski edges, and a slightly forward stance, your leg muscles shouldn't tire out very quickly.

I went to a Young Life gathering to try and meet people at uni freshman year. The first one was a slightly awkward BBQ at someone's off campus house. The second was on campus event that dropped off into that Uncanny Valley of mormon-like sing-alongs and activities.

My buddy and I surveyed the room, felt the hair on the back of our necks prickle, and we got out of there.

If you've seen Heretic or The Endless, it gave off those religious vibes. Too happy/smiley. Too weirdly perfect. Everyone talking about volunteering at kids camps over the summer and how fulfilling it was.

Like, I'm glad that people found something they liked. But it wasn't people talking about real stuff, like their awesome mountain biking adventure over the summer, or volunteering overseas to rescue animals, or even getting over alcoholism. It was all hyper religious forced positivity, and this is coming from someone who grew up religious.

Could you take a picture of the rack? Is it the connect+ rack?

It looks like R1U sells their own $60 panniers, which would be compatible, but might not be waterproof.

I already hate discord, it's always screwed up and already pretty rotted out with PE-class features. Once my friends are ready, I'm down to try alternatives.

This is like building bridges on vibes, lol. People will soon see why we don't do that, haha.

My favorite is P. Barnes explaining to a sovcit how he isn't getting into the courtroom, and the sovcit just won't take no for an answer and ends up getting himself arrested....again.
