A wooden one? Can you send a picture? That actually sounds kinda interesting.

We have those bathmats that are just mats without a rubber backing. The rubber backed ones tend to get really ratty and messed up in a dryer.

The pure cloth ones tend to last longer, imo. And they don't make your clothes smell like rubber. White ones work best, as they can be bleached as needed.

IDK why, but "partner" always kinda bugs me. Sounds too... business-y. Or cowboy-esque.

I just say bf, fiancé, or husband. SO, if it simply must be ambiguous.

If I use gender neutral terms though, people automatically assume I have a gf/wife.

A lot of the top movies got mixed reviews from friends and family. I saw some that were meh. Hope next year has some better ones.

This one made me chuckle. Great setup, too :)

Basically what Cave Johnson did, indirectly.

And ungodly expensive if repairs are needed.

Weight restrictions also seem silly, a trail is going to get the same amount of damage if a bike + person weighs 300+ pounds, regardless of whether that's a bike packer, a very heavy person on a bike, or an ebike. Or someone riding that ungodly heavy new Brompton.

Speed limits seem more practical, but the only people I've seen dangerously overtaking have been the spandex types that have zero time for things like traffic laws while grinding for PRs on Strava. Men of a certain age :P

Yes, but they must not ask if I'm okay when biking up a steep mountain. It's called panting, lol. 1-2 people asking is fine, but by the 30th passing emtber asking if you're okay is actually kind of annoying.

The only thing that actually needs to be banned are cars in (protected) bike lanes and horses on bike trails. Both are extremely annoying, and dangerous.

Funny, that simple mower from the late 1800s is the exact same design we had in the early 2000s. I guess great and simple designs don't change much. It worked great as a push mower!

Old thread, but a mix of saddle position, saddle height, and saddle type. Sometimes playing with the tilt of your bars, too. And grips can make a huge difference.

My city ebike has a mid stock saddle, but after moving it back and adjusting the tilt so that it's like a 1 degree decline, it helps make it a lot more comfortable (male).

My mountain bike had a terrible stock saddle that made my groin fall asleep. I switched to a saddle from these guys:

Which is rock hard, but has good scalloping for my bones and blood flow. So even though it isn't plush, I can ride it for ages or back to back days without going numb in an hour. Granted, you aren't on the saddle much for downhill, but it's great for earning your turns on singletrack with lots of uphill.

Ahh, fair. I unfortunately use the back roller bags you just had blow apart :P
