Honestly, not much of a difference. Default android is a bit more annoying, and the secure folder is inferior. The cameras are decent. It's a solid phone, and the stylus is pretty decent for notetaking. I use my stylus for grocery lists. The headphone jack and SD card is awesome. The screen and processor are great, and the battery is way larger AND charges faster than my s9 or my z fold 4. The stylus is about the same as the z fold stylus.

The phone is pretty solid as an all-arounder. For $250-450, it's hard to have any complaints.

Huh, mine have been totally fine, but I got a very late model, I believe around October or November. Perhaps they fixed it.

Huh, that's interesting! It also explains why I get similar feelings when I see adults learning how to ski, for example. Their uncertain body language and clumsiness makes me want to help them, it's endearing. Toddlers and baby animals have a similar body language when learning new things (or moving in general).

Empathy signals! :)

Ebikes are so insanely good for hauling groceries and city activities, even with a radius in the dozens of miles.

If you told me to bike up an 18% grade hill loaded down with 1-2 bags of heavy groceries, including stuff like milk, I would have told you I had to drive before I got my ebike, haha. I've put over 1,500 miles on my ebikes in under a year of ownership!

It is stupidly good at carrying stuff around. And it makes finding parking super easy, even at very popular areas such as beaches or pools.

I have a city ebike for errands, friends, and exploring, and a traditional mountain bike for downhill and singletrack. Both are so fun and really explore the breadth of what bikes can do.

Oh man, I'd say just the opposite! Date your friends! You know them well, you become good friends before you ever even start dating, which is great for pacing, and you both probably share a lot in common.

There's nothing quite like holding hands with your best friend, or quietly reading together. Or going skiing together ❤️

It's how long term relationships have formed for a handful of my buddies. And it's also how I met my spouse :)

While not everything works out, having a rock solid friendship can lead to an extremely strong relationship.

This is super cool, just unfortunate timing since our president is an idiot and the price of these systems is sure to skyrocket. Costco was selling them last summer for a very tempting price, pre-trade war.

What happened in the 80s?

I miss the old Nvidia, the one making the 900 and 10 series cards. You got an amazing GPU at reasonable prices, everything less than $800.

Nowadays, I feel like the market has deteriorated on Nvidia's end. Idgaf about the eight games with Some anemic raytracing overlays. I want good raster performance at 4k 120, good physics performance, and a good price.

I'd let it offgas for 24-72 hours at least. It smells awful. It's probably something awful like VOCs, lol. Definitely keep a window open until it gets less stinky.

I wish Pat stayed. I worry about the new CEO spinning off their fabs, and axing the GPU line impatiently. The GPU sector will likely take a decade before it's really solid, imo. I hope Intel can have that much patience. They need at least four generations imo.

Weren't they sending soldiers to Ukraine to protect them?

And when is Ukraine gonna join the EU, as promised? If you are gonna promise things, you gotta do them. I'll believe any of these when I actually see it. :P

Here's your answer:

My friends and I categorically refuse to visit states in red. During the pandemic, their refusal to use masks and vaccines resulted in their hospital capacity reaching critical conditions, and they had to export a ton of their sick and dying to Washington and Montana, among other states. This deferred care for resident cancer patients in those states.

Guess how they thanked the states that bailed their asses out come November 5th? If you guessed "crushing tariffs", you guessed right.

There are a few good souls there, but they have a disproportionately high number of extremely evil people.
