My favorite thing is to compare 100 cars on a city block vs 100 bikes. If you have roughly 1.4 people per American car, your 100 cars are going to stretch blocks. 100 people on bikes would easily fit into a block or less, especially when people can bike 3+ in a row and dozens in a column.

The space and weight savings are insane. Which also means less tax dollars spent on repairing road damage. It saves you money and makes the city quieter.

Everything normalized. It became fine to care with how you look :)

Some people are just born that way, even if they are straight. Our family knows a son and a father, both straight, who have the exact same mannerisms that are extremely flamboyant. The nice thing is that the world is (generally) a lot more friendly now than it was way back when.

Being bi blew my mind when I finally came out. Dating women is really fun, but then I met a guy who is like...my best friend and crush? Best of both worlds! We share the same hobbies! And hold hands :)

Go see a doctor as soon as you can. Also, drink plenty of water.

The article makes it sound more like a car problem than anything else. If you stay alert, off your phone, and don't ride above your skill level in the bike lane, you will be fine.

People ride on the sidewalk in sharrows and death-gutter style bike lanes.

Find a used single speed, they need minimal maintenance and have fewer moving parts.

That's awful, but it wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened, and it certainly won't be the last. Comedians have even made stunts/skits out of it with fake art.

What is this from? Some sort of art exhibit?

Steelcase Leap V2. You can get them refurbished from Crandall for mid-range prices :)

This is the drug I'm super hyped about. Even if it was $35, it would be life-changing for millions of people.

Battlefield 1, I liked its slower-paced combat and need for teamwork for things like ships and the heavy bomber (original, not the super heavy).

It was different than almost all contemporary shooters, and I really found that refreshing. It also had a strong art design and really looked the part for WW1, even if some of the weapons were prototypes or team weapons (which should have been cut, imo) or vehicles were tweaked for gameplay (understandable, the German tanks were extremely tippy, and the French tanks were slower IRL)
