Next up, Persona sends a copy of all the data it collects to Palantir

Corpos don't care if it makes them money. See Andor, Barbie, hell even the super weird I'm a Virgo (which is an Amazon production). If they see a market, they really don't care what the message is

no one is installing 300m turbines to make flour.

Our understanding of the world changes. The sound of jets and the sound of fireworks triggers people with PTSD, especially vets. Why would we keep doing that knowing what we know? Pageantry should never outstrip health of the people.

FWIW, TPMs are on the mobo, not on the CPU. Not to encourage you to install Wimdows, but you can get TPM chips that plug into the mobo.

I really enjoyed Lies of P. It is not as polished as Elden Ring, but still a great souls like. You could also play Dark souls 1. It is a little rough not having a dedicated jump button, but still one of the better souls games out there.

I gotta think someone like Murdoch knew Trump would do this since that is his typical MO. Especially since Trump said he was going to sue him before it ran. If that is true, seems likely Murdoch is holding something back

It’s not like there’s a line in the customer agreement when buying tickets that you allow your face to be featured (unless there is?).

It's shitty, but there is. Hell, even at small venues there usually at least a line saying "By buying this ticket you agree to be recorded"

Yeah, mine too

I'm going to give coyotino the benefit of the doubt here and say that meant "Look at her, she already looks like Zelda" just based on the previous sentence

Unless there is something inserted into the gcode, nozzles are a wear item. You would not be able to put a consistently identifiable mark on the nozzle

Small savings =/= enough to gamble on stocks. At least if you want to keep that money.

Hey y'all. My partner and I recently had an unexpected demolition in the first floor if our house and realized that we can probably leave room to run water lines for a CatGenie litterbox during the rebuild. Have any of you used them, and if so, are they worth it? We've had litter robot 3s for a few years and are less than impressed with the build quality, so just thinking about upgrading.

Is it possible to have a "style guide" for posting YouTube links? Usually there is just the title of the video and the generic YouTube blurb, and most of the time the title only vaguely tells you what the video is about. It would nice if in the description we could have folks post the length, the name of the creator, and a brief description of the video. If the creator has one, great, use that. If not, just a quick 1 or 2 sentence synopsis. I think this would help engagement for those posts a lot and just create better quality posts for video content. I know I don't watch or comment on any video post that just has a title.

It has been so great to see how horrible Vance is as a VP pick. I would hazard a guess that nobody else would say yes to Trump after he was willing to sacrifice Pence.

We went camping for the first time since getting the twin pomskis. They did so good! The fluffier pomski (Bliss) and the little havapoo (Poppy) were in a heated competition for who could bring home more of the forest floor.

It is a very hot weekend here in Seattle, but we got some disc golf in before it was miserable

I am very excited for the 1.0 release! My friends and I are currently playing a multiplayer game in Update 8, and we are so close to finishing all the space elevator parts for the first time.

I don't know if there is enough interest, but is it possible to get a maker community created? Some things like 3d printing don't always quite fit into DIY or Creative.

Ford and GM are probably regretting that switch to NACS...

We finished the last piece of the cat path I posted about earlier! This one goes from the laundry room, to the stairwell, and then into the guest bedroom on the upper floor (yes, I know the carpet needs replaced in that closet). They are already using them and seem to love the new path already.

My partner and I have been talking about making some cat paths in our house since long before we owned our house. We recently got 2 new dogs, so now it is a high priority project. The first step was putting up some shelves in the hallway and making a portal from the hallway to the bedroom closet (you can see it just above the tent). The surround for the portal is this 3D printed tunnel

The next project is going to be putting a portal from the spare bedroom into the stairwell so they can go up and down floors without the dogs being in the way

I am stripping and re-sealing a corner shower stall, and am having a hell of time removing all the old caulk. I also discovered the previous homeowners decided to just caulk over the previous caulk that was on there, so I am removing 2 or 3 layers depending on the location. It was leaking in the spots that had 3 layers so I think they just added more caulk to "fix" leaks. I have the chemical caulk remover, and that certainly helps, but it still is taking a metric fuck-ton of manual labor. Any tricks/suggestions for removal of very old caulk? I am about to throw a scotch brite on a palm sander and go to town.
