But you just negated your initial argument by using Apple as an example...?

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series is at the lowest I've personally seen (if you ignore the Epic game giveaways about 3 years back)

Isn't that one of the side effects of having a federated universe? I don't feel it's so much riding your work as it is combining conversations within a single deduped community.

Also, if nothing is done about it, wouldn't we keep having issues like this: https://lemmy.ca/post/2821804

I visited California a few times, and LA is not a great tourist destination imo. But other parts of California is beautiful

Simple answer I think is GOP don't want anyone in their base to think any form of government assistance is good and will always label it as hand outs. More government assistance/social safety nets means their capitalist overlords gets to maintain and build their control over citizens and money will flow to them instead. Also "liberals bad!"

Any plans to improve the sorting algorithm so that there's a good balance of fresh posts at the top that's also fairly active? And to help promote smaller communities that would have otherwise been dominated by the posts from bigger instances.

Any concerns about duplicate communities across multiple instances? People have made the argument that it's like having different flavors of subreddits on Reddit, but it's a flawed analogy. Individual instances have incentive to make their own communities flourish, whether or not there's a duplicate already available.

I knew I was going to love Pacific Rim (giant robots and monsters? Sign me up) but I didnt expect the horror element of it and exactly how menacing each kaiju would be. I can easily rewatch it many times.

To the original question, from recent memory a film that surprised me was Dungeons and Dragons Honor among Thieves. The IP didnt have a great track record in film, but this one was entertaining, funny, heartwarming, and highly recommended.

Gentle turbulence actually helps, believe it or not.

Because it's Fox News and they're going to pack it with conservatives that will cheer anything that DeSantis says

Yea I was trying to find the one old dude out of the whole group.

Also, can't believe Brandon Ingram is just 25. I thought he was much older.

It's not consistent, but the restored comment shows up if you decide to create a second comment at the root level of the comment threat. (So basically not under any other comment, but commenting under the post directly)
