If you are diagnosed with any mental illnesses, you could be denied treatment. If you don’t have at least 15 counseling sessions in 18 months (so puberty might have already have really kicked in) you can be denied treatment.
You can't get treatment until you get counseling and oh what's that you got counseling for dysphoria or whatever so clearly you're mentally unwell!
Fucking trash.
According to the Wikipedia article the directors started planning things out way before multiverse shit went mainstream and were really worried the movie would fall flat as time went on because people would be sick of that concept.
