It's really not. Not to mention, like someone else said, Meta has said that they don't even have any former Twitter employees on their engineering team for Threads.

Lemmy and Kbin are actually completely different apps, like Lemmy and Mastadon, but they can federate with each other through the Activity Pub protocol, and they both happen to be aiming to be Reddit replacements. (Kbin is also aiming to have some Twitter-like functionality as well.) I like the way Kbin sorts its posts better, but I like Lemmy's terminology more. I don't mind either of their UI.

True. But at least the main Mastadon app has a little tutorial to help you pick a server. Maybe Lemmy needs one like that. Or we can just tell people to go to Lemmy.world or sh.itjust.works or our own small instance like I have.

Well, in their defense, The Flash was first filmed way before he got super problematic iirc.

I also thought it wasn't too bad, but I seem to be in the minority apparently lol. My biggest complaint is some moments of bad CGI.

There's still a place for theaters for people in apartments or condos who can't set up home theaters without bothering their neighbors... Unfortunately. Damn you high home prices 😭

Damn, Nvidia Shield Pro is kind of expensive, $200. And so are some of the NAS's I've seen pop up on google. Trying to get both sounds like this will end up being a long-term project over a couple paychecks lol.

Tay! That's good.

I still use it every now and then, only old reddit. But I deleted the official app from my phone.

That's crazy. I'll miss bees when we accidentally kill them all.

I'm guessing you have to plug a separate hard drive into the Nvidia Shield Pro to stream files that large? I've been thinking of going that route since Netflix has started being sucky. I don't want to support them, but I miss their 4k Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos/5.1 content for my own basic, little home theater.

Hopefully that stays true. I've definitely been in the same boat, sort of reviewing the Reddit front page every now and then out of habit when I'm bored at work, but immediately getting bored after the first page or two and after the first couple comments. I only go there for the most niche subreddits (some video game communities) or when I'm researching an issue now.

Lemme guess, another biased Trump appointed judge?
