My review was starting to get long so I'll add this addendum down here. It starts as a good background show and then managed to rope me in over time as the main characters relationship improved and the various celebrity/character actor cameos started passing through, each using their brief time on the screen to perfection.

I'd say it was about episode 3 or 4 I think it started to look at my phone less.

I think it does that if they're cross posted, at least someone else said that, but maybe they need to make that easier on more of the mobile clients.

Can you put this suggestion on their Github issues tracker? It's brilliant.

It needs to be enabled on more mobile apps then.

I have to admit that Trump nearly dying from Covid was pretty hilarious at the time.

Deny, deny, deny. Now climate change deniers are doing that even to observable, recordable phenomena, just to avoid the truth of what is happening. This is what's stopping progress towards saving our children's future.

I seem to be having problems federating with Lemmy.world from my instance for some reason 🤔

What flowchart? Sorry I'm new here lol.

People are already dying to the effects. We know climate change can cause more and higher intensity hurricanes, more droughts, fires, famines, wilder weather swings, floods, and wars and refugee crises, etc. We know these things are increasing and we know people are already dying to them now.

So while you can't pin any individual disaster to climate change, we already know it's causing deaths.

As for if we're all going to die? Probably not all of us, so if you're lucky and don't mind you or your kids living in a Mad Max world, you can relax a little.

Tbh, I hope not. I'd prefer everything spread out amongst a lot of instances so that if one instance goes down, like has happened a couple times already, all of Lemmy isn't screwed. But if it starts out with a lot of main communities on there to make it easier for new people, I suppose that's what we'll have to do.

It's not like things are sunshines and roses for gay people in liberal western societies. Pride parades started in the US from a riot when they couldn't take it anymore. The UK chemically castrated Alan Turing. Hiding is a good way for the individual to survive, but to forward progress for the group in the future, attention needs to be brought to these issues.
