Don't forget basically all the country lines in Africa, although that was Europe's fault as a whole.

Especially when they're in trouble for corruption charges and making sweeping changes to their country's justice system to help themselves at the detriment of their democracy?
I know it wasn't the most exciting game play, but there was a chess match-like mental mastery to the whole style that I really enjoyed when teams pulled it off well, like CLG did (I was a fan of them). But it's not as exciting to watch as the hyper aggressive style that China brought, so I get that, too, and it also invalidates a lot of champions when there's barely a lane phase.
But I think you're right that it would've been good to see how people adapt to it. I never followed it, but I've been told that Brood War (and Dota maybe?) had many meta updates just from people adapting to each other without any mechanical updates to the game.
I love all the fruits, they add interesting plays and possibilities. But I agree that the bottom turret shouldn't be weaker. That's weird.
Or ask them what they think of Taiwan being a separate state from the rest of China?
I would agree with all 3 of these areas being allowed independence, but I doubt they are.
Not only the resentment but Israel actually helped their worst elements gain power in order to cause an inner conflict within the Palestinians. They supported Hamas's growth to cause a fissure between them and the PLO.
That seemed like a pretty calm and rational discussion about this horrible situation with people on both sides getting upvoted and the pro Hamas people at the bottom mostly getting down voted. Seems fine to me.
Sync and Connect can do it. Possibly other apps as well. It's also coming up in the next version as a lemmy-wide feature.
I'm so jealous of cats lol
I always love seeing more communities and I like that you added related ones!
California has finally started forcing local governments to build more housing to stop the NIMBYs bit it's still going to take so many years for housing to catch up even if they start now.
On the other hand, that is within a human lifetime and they're still expanding their settlements today. It's not like the bad stuff just happened to people 75 years ago then stopped.
But I wish Israel didn't help create Hamas. It would be much preferable for a more secular force to help Palestinians that I could put my support in. No one wants to support terrorists, but now Hamas is basically their only option, which sucks. I don't even like reading about the stuff over there now, it's all sad and there's no good solution.
