Yeah let's move the goalposts... Lol

Just to add, it's not because a leader is elected that it is a democracy.

Just because you don’t know what terms mean doesn’t mean the person you’re interacting with is a troll.

So you start your "rebuttal" with a slight insult, well well, you are right of course, if I do not know something doesn't mean you are a troll (or the person I responded to) but check out his posts and come back and say you see no trolling.

I am not an American lol.

It's not an insult it's reality.

Your fear mongering is this:

The Cold War is in full effect, and it heating up to armed conflict is seeming more likely over the next decade.

[–] Valmond@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 years ago (9 children)

Okay so you really are a troll then lol.

A socialist democracy, what's next, a dictator-democracy?

Wait, that's your definition of China!

Looooool

[–] Valmond@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 years ago

Same here. So ; argue, downvote, report or "don't feed the troll"?

Democracy isn't just elections. The URSS had elections and they were not democratic.

Nazi Germany was inspired by a lot of things, but absolutely the most came from Faschism, invented by Italian leader Benito Mussolini.

The USA couldn't have been fachist at that time even if they wanted to.

[–] Valmond@lemmy.ml 0 points 2 years ago (9 children)

That's just fear mongering.

Also when did china become a democracy, yesterday ? China has never been a democracy.

God I love this new fresh internet.

I think you are just seeing the future, maybe (obviously) in a simple way.

Instances will grow (in popularity, usefullnes, ...) and choose which other instance they want to be associated with to promote whatever they like(more like-minded users, more knowledge, more eternal capitalistic growth, ...)

[–] Valmond@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 years ago

I'll bite.

It's like the early internet, you have to move around and eventually you'll find what you are looking for. Follow that link! Search engines were useful for that back in the day.

I bet we'll have similar services even if we do not have them just yet.
