Older doctors were literally taught that black women have a higher pain tolerance. This in part originated from an early gynecologist doing experiments on black women slaves without bothering to give them any anesthetics. His justification for it was basically that they could handle the pain, and there are doctors practicing medicine today that still belive it.

I see two approaches that you can take.
- instead of focusing on what you are taking away. Focus on what you can do with the money instead. Telling them that they can have a new TV with that money is a lot more motivation to say yes than taking something away.
- Do the scream test. Just cancel everything and wait for someone to scream about not having a services and resubscribe. Repeat every 6 months or so.
You'd use climate control year round too if it was typically in the 90F during the summer, in the teens during the winter, and spring and fall each last about 3 weeks.
Your primary Switch shouldn't need to do that, and it also would have done it if you didn't get the DLC. It is dumb that it basically requires internet access for all your additional Switches to operate, and it actually promotes you marking your travel switch as the primary device while the actual primary device sits at home where you always have internet access.
