As an American I can say that the overwhelming majority of people don’t have an interest in this specific event. Yes, there are those that support one side or the other. Yes there are some protests. But most people simply don’t care.

What most people want is for the US to stay out of the Middle East. It feels like we just left. It was one of the first things to happen during the Biden administration. It’s been less than 4 years. Now we’re sending troops back over. Sure, it’s just medical support, for now. But it just feels like we’re getting back into the war we just left.

It’s not the same war. It’s an entirely different war on every aspect. But with our coverage and everything it feels like it’s a continuation of the same conflict. Americans don’t want involved. And with ties to Israel the easiest way to keep out of it is to broker peace between both countries.

Unfortunately Americans rarely get what they want

It’s on the list. We just got carpet laid downstairs and still need 2 more rooms done, we got a new furnace/ac, and are now installing interior stairs. It’s a big project overall cause we’re converting a duplex to a single family home. But eventually new locks will be put on.

No we’re pretty certain that wire comes out in the basement. There’s almost an identical one directly underneath the house.

I did test it with the switch to be safe and it was a no go. It could be dead all around though. I don’t think that’s a outdoor cable

I’m redoing a lot of the lighting so that’s not a project I’m afraid to tackle. Last owner loved florescent lights so we’re removing them from the bedrooms and bathrooms currently.

Inside looks pretty much the same. My biggest fear is breaking it apart and not being able to reassemble it because it leaves a pretty big hole to get inside the house. If I can get in without breaking it I can fix whatever is in there.

Not sure when the door was installed but the house is 1880’s so it has quite a span to be from. I doubt it’s original but it can be quite old.

I don’t think so. We found a mysterious wire in the basement that goes outside to nowhere directly below it. Either way that doesn’t work and I’m just trying to find the best/least damaging way to remove it.

But it did cross my mind and I tested it with the switch on and off and it worked with neither. That being said I don’t think it’s an outdoor rated plug so it could just be bad either way.

The Washington ones are funny because they’re all named after George Washington because “he traveled near that location” but half of them are like “nah he really didn’t do that”

You can file bankruptcy independently. It’s a bit more complicated but possible.

I just went through it and honestly, I’m so relieved. It’s not something you want to go through, but sometimes people fuck up and can’t unfuck their finances. It helped me and my wife unfuck our finances. We declared bankruptcy in March and were debt free by May. We now own a house and are actually able to live our lives how we want. Our daughter turned a year and we decided to throw her a massive bday. We put 2 grand into her party. Something we couldn’t have done with our debt. We’re going to a couple USL playoff games this season as well.

On top of that we got new flooring in our house, something we desperately needed. We just had a new furnace installed. I have a quote coming for replacing our stairs that are falling apart. The loans are a pain to get but it’s doable and we’re paying them off before the interest gets too bad. Again, something we wouldn’t be able to do in debt.

Bankruptcy shouldn’t be something anyone wants to do, but also don’t be afraid of it.

I’ve seen this kind of cheesy thing as party favors for company Christmas parties. It’s a thing, but it’s almost never the ONLY thing. It’s more likely someone in management saw it on Pinterest and had to incorporate somehow to seem like the fun boss. The. Did some other lousy stuff to make it not seem so bad.

Maybe it’s your country’s version, but my 2018 leaf had 150 miles brand new which equates to 241 km. My Niro EV gets close to 250 miles which is closer to 400 km

I would not recommend a leaf. I had a ton of fun with that car, and it was a great intro to EV car. But it’s short range and the fact that it’s a discontinued model are a turn off for me though. If you like Nissan the Ariya is a good choice I hear though
