Thanks! I installed Splitwise and it seems to require a subscription to run? I think I'll just be using it for a trip or maybe two so subscription for it is a bit too much.

I always find the privacy-sensitive Germans coexisting with Schufa for so many years bemusing.
I really had to think hard and I guess I seldom use it. I touch-type but somehow my body has learnt to use only the left hand for almost all the modifier keys no matter how many keys I have to press there. It's actually a good idea that I only realise now that I should map that right shift for something else.
Really appreciate your elaborate sharing! I tried installing Splitwise but it seems to require a subscription to use or only allow me to add a few entries. I don't think I would be using it frequently enough to afford a subscription so I guess I will try out other alternatives suggested here.
