I’m almost positive they don’t see the irony in calling climate change a “religion”, while worshipping trump and pretending to be Christians, but it is on the highest level of irony. Poetic maybe? Whatever the highest level irony is, this guy nailed it.

Congrats on playing “life” in hard mode and getting ahead. And props to your mom.
Two questions:
- Do you have a relationship with your dad?
- How did you stay out of the drugs/violence growing up?
Nice! Congrats on the position.
Good to know! But the out of the box version of DuckDuckGo.com does have AI on by default. I think it should be off by default.
Two questions: If my math is accurate, you did so for three years. What are you doing for work now?
I was friends with a girl who had a customer buy her a hot water tank ($1200) as a tip when she was in the industry. He was one of those lonely men that was more interested in human connection than the stripping. She would talk about her problems and one day her hot water took a shit and he offered to replace it. Did you have any crazy things happen like that?
Somewhat ironic given that DuckDuckGo has AI on by default. You have to either save the settings on the cloud or manually turn off AI when searching using DuckDuckGo. Still a good privacy search engine though.
Andy Capp use to have a version called “salsa fires” and they were the superior Andy Capp fry. But alas, they discontinued them many years ago.
Facts. I’ve had 7 tick bites this year so far. I do have a fluff of a dog and live out in the woods, but I’ve never seen it this bad.
It’s like accents. Did you know America is the only place that doesn’t have language accents? We just speak normal English here.
It’s not ignorance, it’s bribery (lobbying). The oil industry wants to take advantage of green energy incentives to build more gas power plants.
Also I love the hypocrisy here:
“In 2024, Gov. Landry signed a pro-gas proclamation stating that “Louisiana recognizes natural gas as an affordable, reliable, and clean energy resource,” and that efforts to transition away from fossil fuels stand to “devastate” Louisiana consumers and economic growth.”
But also:
“Entergy customers will be on the hook for $470 million to finance the project, according to filings with the Louisiana Public Service Commission and the Midcontinent Independent Service Operator, as reported by New Orleans City Business.”
Yea, I think you are correct. The BBB will be voted on July 4th, not the budget. I had my facts backward. That said, I still don’t anticipate a lot of DHS pushback. Although I hope congress does change it considerably. It’s a mess as is.
Well the head of the EPA called climate change “a religion” so that ship has sailed for the US.
