They keep their secrets undercover
The rich don't bother about those that suffer
This ain′t land of milk and honey
'Cause all they want is money, money, money
One of my historically worst hangovers was from soju. Together with friends we went to a Korean grill place and the drinks just kept coming. Next morning was bad. I was wrecked in a ways Sodom and Homorrah were, and I was the Lot's wife looking back at the inferno in the mirror. Big bang headache with coordination of a limp muppet and diction of a local railway station announcement.
I'm a big guy. I'm my life I've experienced some shits. Metal band tours. Post game rugby bus shenanigans. Hoboing around and drinking to keep warm. Getting wasted with carbide enriched hooch while at a LARPG. Soju brought every of that memory, and played a sadistic slow motion replay, making me question every life decision.
So yeah, gotta try that again once. And I need to score some buckfast.
How comes he had full control over government and still barely scrambles to get enough votes to push his authoritarian bills?
IMO the orange fart ain't got allies. Having allies requires empathy. He has people he can use, people he used and people he will attempt in using given a chance. It's not alliance but utilization.
Just sell it as a modern take on (manliest of manly) Roman and Greek tunics. Alpha bros will be drooling for it in no time. That, however, will ruin the purpose by making the dress unwearable again so nah.
Black metal and grindcore distros are so happy!
So it's all about marketing your flesh bag to the highest bidder? Ah so ironic.
That's exactly not what I said but you do you
I would challenge the statement that half meter long nails and three liters of Botox and fillers in one face are far beyond the 'self fulfillment' and is rather a (very, very bad) marketing attempt.
If you decide to use your last money to stroke own ego and look like a porn star, that's on you.
I was working in a European branch of a SF based private company. It's a company that tries really hard to have good optics everywhere, from being listed as PBC down to "support and inclusion" talks.
US employees officially had "unlimited" vacation days, European had 25. Plus the company has a practice of giving an extra Friday off once a month, plus few days for Christmas break plus one year there was a week of summer break.
That year with a summer break employees in Europe got over 40 days of vacation. 35..37 without it. Plus bank holidays and sick leaves.
I was freaking out after learning that US employees with the unlimited time off were getting under 20. Whenever an employee was using more than 15 vacation days a year, they were presented with an inquiring interview from their manager trying to figure out why they need so much rest.
US has no work culture, it's exploitation.
