What’s the benefit of Apple TV? in c/apple@hardware.watch

I love Apple TVs. We have dumb Vizio smart tvs. I can control the tv right off my phone, tell Siri to turn them on or off, AirPods/beats. I’d like my lights to be connected to Apple HomeKit but haven’t been that lucky yet.
